CLG-Bord Na nOg Rod 5k Family Fun Run/Walk
Following on from last years 5k family fun run/walk CLG-Bord Na nog have decided to hold it again this year in which we will be donating half of the monies raised to the Rhode & Croghan Lourdes Fund.
We hope that many more will come out on the day to help support this worthy cause
It will take place on Saturday June 2nd with registration taking place at 9;30 am with walk/run taking off at 10am

Offaly Senior Footballers
Hard luck to Offaly Senior Footballers who were defeated by Wicklow after extra time in the Leinster Championship in Portlaoise . Final Score Read Offaly 1-15 Wicklow 1-20. It wasnt to be for Offaly who seemed to be in control for most of the the game but Wicklow clawed there way back to beat Offaly in which is an historic win for them.
On The Offaly Team/panel from Rhode are Offaly Captain Anton Sullivan, Niall Darby and Conor McNamee Ruairi McNamee.
Offaly GAA Cul Camps
The annual Rhode GAA Cul Camp will commence in Fr Dowling Park on Monday 16th July to Friday 20th July. The camp will start each day at 10am and ends at 2.30pm. It is a wonderful experience for the 6 to 12 year old boys and girle s to play games meet new friends and to practice the skills of our native games. U,15 Team Bonding Hiking Trip
Our Under 15 footballers travelled to Glendalough on a hiking trip on Saturday last. It was a most enjoyable day. Much thanks must go to the management teeam of Kyle Kavanagh, Roy Malone and Cathal Smith for giving up their time by spending it with theit player's.

Lotto
There was no winner of the Rhode GAA Lotto Draw that took place on the 8th of May for a Jackpot of €15,000. The numbers drawn were 4 6 15 29. The club would like to thank all those who supported the draw and thanks to Killeen's for the use of their premises and for their help and cooperation. The following matched three numbers and received €70 each.

The Rhode GAA Lotto is the main source of income the club has and now you can play online through our website. The good news is when you play the lotto online you are entitled to free draws, for example, pay for seven draws, receive the eighth one free, pay for fourteen draws receive two free and so on.
