Oulart-the-Ballagh avenged last year's Leinster final defeat to Kilcormac/Killoughey thanks to a sensational second half performance at O'Connor Park.

Trailing by 0-7 to 2-6 at half-time, Martin Storey's five-in-a-row Wexford kingpins took complete control after the restart to run out four-point winners and secure their place in the decider against surprise-packets Mount Leinster Rangers. It was Oulart's first victory over Offaly opposition in the Leinster club SHC.

The visitors started promisingly and had opened up a 0-4 to 0-2 lead before Ciaran Slevin's long-range free went straight to the net in the 15th minute. That gave the holders the lead for the first time, and when Dan Currams followed up with a second major six minutes later, the Wexford men had it all to do.

But Oulart came storming back into the game with three quick points from David Redmond on the resumption. They were level by the 38th minute thanks to a Rory Jacob goal and there was only going to be winner after that as the team in red and black piled on the scores.

County star Jacob top-scored with 1-4, while the impressive Redmond helped himself to 0-4.
