Ollie Baker will have to plan without the services of Cathal Parlon for Saturday's All-Ireland SHC qualifier against Waterford.

Coolderry clubman Parlon - who lined out at wing-back against Kilkenny - has been ruled out through injury.

"Cathal Parlon is injured and won't be available," the Faithful County boss confirmed to the Irish Daily Star.

"He sustained a hand injury in the Kilkenny game. It's a disappointment for us."

Better news for Faithful County followers is that Shane Dooley is likely to start despite struggling with a long-running hamstring injury while Dan Currams is back to full fitness after breaking his arm in the lead up to the All-Ireland club final. Tweet
