The Offaly SHC commences this weekend with a full round of first round games down for decision.

All-Ireland final runners-up Coolderry begin their defence of the Sean Robbins Cup in Birr this evening when they meet Kilcormac/Killoughey in what is arguably the tie of the round. The attention switches to O'Connor Park tomorrow evening when last year's intermediate champions Brosna Gaels take on Shamrocks in a north Offaly derby.

The remaining four games will take place on Sunday. In O'Connor Park, Tullamore face St. Rynagh's, Drumcullen meet Shinrone in Carrig, while there is a double-header in Lusmagh which sees Birr tackling Belmont and Kinnitty up against Seir Kieran. Tweet
