You are all invited to attend the Leinster GAA Championship launch
this Thrursday May 10th in O Connor Park under the stand at 7pm. We
are also asking everybody if possible to stay around Tullamore and
come and support The Offaly GAA Quiz with a top prize of €80. To
enter a team of 4 is only €20 and we are hoping to have one team from
every club. Your club liasing officer from the PR Committee, Sheila,
Doloras, Garrett, Brendan, Pat or myself will be in contact with you
tomorrow to finalise. This will hopefully begin a strong positive
county build up to June 2nd when our hurlers take on Wexford and then
June 17th when our footballers face Kildare. Lets get behind the lads
as they are putting great effort, both players and management. See

There will be a provincial county by county launch of the Leinster GAA
Championships in both hurling and football in every county in Leinster
on Friday May 11th. As Offaly footballers will play Laois in the
official opening of the new facilities in Mountmellick on Friday May
11th, Offaly will launch the Championship on Thursday May 10th at 7pm
in O'Connor Park. This will be an open invitation to all our local
media to interview our Managers, team captains and some members of
their backroom teams. It will also be an opportunity for our clubs
too to come in for a meet and greet with team Managements and some
players too in both hurling and football. Ollie Baker and Tom Coffey
will both be in attendance and available for discussion with media and
clubs on Offaly's prospects in this year's championship. There will be
a cup of tea afterwards and then everybody will hopefully make their
way to The Central Hotel for the Offaly GAA Quiz night at 9pm. See
