3rd Level Competitions: In the qualifying round of the Purcell Cup, NUI Maynooth saw off the challenge of AIT with our Tullamore camogie member Ailse Hughes to the fore on the scoring sheet for the home side
2nd Level Competitions: Sacred Heart School Tullamore played Kilkenny's Castlecomer Community School in the Leinster Colleges Junior final in Mountmellick last week. Backed with many players from our club and captained by Lisa Gorman the team had prepared well under their trainers Elaine Lanham and Karen Brady. Having performed well in the semi final hopes were high of a title alas the Castlecomer team came out deserved winners on the day. Sacred Heart School will now play the Ulster winners in the quarter final of the All Ireland leg of the competition.
