Bingo
The Bingo Jackpot is now €4,900 in 45 calls or less. Bingo starts at 8pm every Sunday night in the clubhouse. There is now over €15,000 in total prizemoney on offer every Sunday night.

Ladies GAA Underage Training 2012
Edenderry Ladies GAA have commenced their 2012 indoor training season for all girls of 12 years of age and under in the hall at St. Mary's Secondary School on Friday evenings. All kids are encouraged to come along and enjoy a fun, clean safe training environment whilst getting much needed exercise.
Full details are:
5.00pm to 6.00pm: Under 12s - Girls born in the years 2000 and 2001
6.00pm to 7.00pm: Under 10s and Under 8s - Girls born in the years 2002 to 2006.
Adult training
Adult football training will resume this Friday January 27th at 7.30pm. New players always welcome.

Membership rates for 2012 are as follows:

Family €60 (two parents & all children U18)
Adult Player €60
Student (U23) €30
Senior Citizen €5
Non-playing Adult €20

Club Coaching & Hurling Review Update
A very successful Coaching Workshop & Hurling Review were held in the GAA Centre on Tuesday 17th of January. Both events were attended in large numbers and many issues were discussed. The next instalment of workshops will be held on Tuesday 31st of January.
The first workshop dealt with an introduction to National Best Practice Standards and gave an overview of where the Club wishes to go in terms of coaching for 2012. Plans for coach education programmes for 2012 were also outlined.
The Hurling Review dealt with 3 of 6 topics up for discussion. Working in groups, the members present highlighted their ambitions for hurling in the club in 2012 and beyond. The 3 topics dealt with were Hurling in Schools, the Promotion of Hurling in the Club and a strategy for the recruitment of additional coaches and personnel.

St Marys Secondary School
The St Mary's Senior team take on Athy in Round 2 of the Leinster Colleges "A" Football in Edenderry on Wed 25th at 1.30pm. St Mary's will play in the Rhode colours after losing a toss as the Athy colours are similar to Edenderry's change strip of navy.
The schools Juvenile team are through to the North Leinster Final after a fantastic win in the semi final last week. They are currently waiting on the final to be fixed and it is expected to be played next week.
Both squads feature a number of Edenderry GAA players and the club wish both every success in these games.

Best wishes to Basil Malone who recently called time on his playing days with the club. We wish Basil and his wife Aine the best of luck for the future in Donegal. We would also like to thank Basil for his massive contribution to the club over the past twenty years. It was an honour and privilege to have you wear the red jersey.

Awards night/Dinner dance
Our awards night/dinner dance will take place in the Hamlet hotel on February 17th. Tickets are on sale for €40. Contact any committee member. Music by 'The Bentley Boys'.
Civic reception
Edenderry Town Council will host a civic reception for the Edenderry Senior footballers of 2011 on February 3rd in the Town Hall.
