Junior Football Championship. Killeigh 0--8: Cappincur 1--14.
Killeigh's second loss in the championship last Saturday. Killeigh led by 2 points to 1 in the early stages, but Cappincur scored 5 unanswered points to lead 0-6 to 0-2 at half time. Brothers Gus and Darragh O'Brien scored for Killeigh.

In the second half, Cappincur led 8 points to 3, before Killeigh hit a purple patch with Darragh O'Brien scoring 4 points from placed balls, to leave a point between the sides. Killeigh missed a few scoring chances in this spell, but Cappincur added 2 points to 1 from Eddie Kinahan, and led 10 points to 8.

Cappincur added 1-4 in the last few minutes, as Killeigh's hardworked defence tired. The game ended in a 9 point loss for Killeigh, which didn't reflect the closeness of the game.

We now move on to our final group game away to Gracefield next Sunday, throw in 6.00p.m, and hope to get back to winning ways.
