Killurin club notes
March 15, 2010Division 2 hurling league
Killurin take on Ballyskenach in round two of the division 2 hurling league this Saturday the 20th at 5pm in Killurin and all support is welcome.
Under 21
Best of luck to the parish under 21 hurling team who take on Coolderry on St. Patrick's Day in Killeigh at 12pm and all support is encouraged.
Challenge games
Killurin played worthwhile challenge games last weekend the intermediates played Kilmacud Crokes of Dublin and the junior b team played Clonaslee with victory in both games.
25th Anniversary
Preparations are underway for the 25th Anniversary celebrations which will be held on Friday the 9th of April.
Weekend away
A team bonding weekend away to Galway has been arranged for the weekend of Saturday the 10th of April where a challenge game will be followed by an over night stay. All money must be paid by 31st March to Pat Joe Kinnarney, Willie Grennan or Joe Brady.
Membership
Membership for the coming year is now due and should be paid to Pius Casey as soon as possible.
Training
Intermediate and junior b hurling training continues at the appointed times.
All County Clubs Draw
Tickets for the all county clubs draw can be purchased from any member of Finance committee the first draw will be held on Tuesday the 1st of June. There will be 3 Monthly Draws of 1st Prize €10,000 2nd prize €1,000, 3rd prize €1,000 9 prizes of €500, the final draw 1st prize Car,2nd €5,000 3rd € 2,500, 4th €2,000 5th €1,000, 10 Prizes of €500
Underage training
Under 12 and under 14 hurling training continues on Sunday mornings from 9.30 to 10.45 in Killeigh. Tweet
