More of the same for Clara

27 November 2009

Clara will be hoping to continue from where they left off last Sunday as they prepare to face Portlaoise in the rescheduled Leinster club SFC semi final on Saturday afternoon.

Last week's match was abandoned by match referee Joe Curley five minutes into the second half as torrential rain made it almost impossible to play on.

Clara were leading by a point at the time and had a gale force wind on their backs, but they agreed with the referee's decision to call a halt to proceedings.

The winners of Saturday's game will only have a week to prepare for the Leinster final as it has been scheduled for the following Sunday with Westmeath champions Garrycastle already in the decider.
