GLADIATORS READY!! This St. Stephen's Day at 2pm Ferbane GAA Pitch will be the focus of a battle between Gladiators representing Ferbane GAA,Gallen Utd F.C., Ferbane Ladies GAA and the West Offaly Lions RFC.This Battle will be fought over 8 different disciplines. These include Pillow Fighting,Running the Gauntlet,Penalty Shoot-out and Powerball among others!Members of the public who think they have the bottle to take on these awesome athletes will be encouraged to do so for a small donation.The aim of this military exercise is to raise funds for the local Suicide Action Group.The organising committee ask that Leotards be left at home! LOTTO The numbers drawn in last week's (16th) lotto draw were 11,20,24,27 & bonus number 21.There was no jackpot winner but Stephen,Larry & Jen matched three numbers and won Eu200.George Digan and Doreen Spillane won the Christmas draw prizes and Kieran Connolly won the promoters prize.The lotto can also be played 'on line' at www.locallotto.ie/ferbanegaa or via the link on www.fbgaamc.com for a jackpot prize of Eu5,000.
