Former Leitrim football manager Dessie Dolan is in line to take up the reins of Offaly senior side Shamrocks for the coming year. Dolan ended his association with the Connacht county earlier this year and he has been linked with a number of high profile jobs, but Shamrocks look to have got their man. They are seeking a manager since the departure of Mark Plunkett, who has become a selector with the Offaly senior side for the 2009 campaign. The Westmeath native will have a good knowledge of Offaly club football as he has trained both Tullamore and Shannonbridge in the past. Tweet
