Local man Pat Flanagan will return as Clara senior football manager for the 2009 season. Flanagan shot to prominence during his four years in charge of Tyrrellspass, leading the Westmeath club to two county titles and a Leinster club final appearance in 2007. He is also a current Westmeath senior football selector.
