Offaly minor footballers will have a new manager for the 2019 campaign.

Ferbane clubman Georgie Digan has been handed the task of guiding the fortunes of the Faithful youngsters next year.

Digan has experience at inter-county level as he was selector with the Offaly under-20s last year, while he has worked with his club’s underage teams in the last few years.

The talented footballer lined out at midfield as Ferbane captured this year’s Intermediate football championship.

His management team includes Keith McGuinness (Edenderry), Ken Daly (Ballycumber), Tom Naughton (Clara) and Pat Costello, a Westmeath native who teaches in Edenderry.
