Offaly's Eoin Carroll will definitely not start the Leinster SFC clash against Wicklow at O'Moore Park on Sunday.

Despite returning to training following a second knee operation, this game comes too soon for the talented Cappincur footballer.

Indeed, speculation is increasing that it will be much later in the year that Carroll will return to the side, which would be a massive blow for Offaly.

Peter Cunningham is also a major doubt with a knee injury, while Michael Brazil and Sean Pender are also rated doubtful for the clash.

Offaly are favourites to come through against a side that finished bottom in Division 4, but with so many key players ruled out for the Faithful County, Wicklow will go into the game in a confident mood.
