Ryan McAnespie and Daniel McKenna have been called up the Monaghan attack for Sunday's crucial Allianz FL encounter with Donegal in Castleblayney.

The pair will start in the full-forward line beside team-captain Conor McManus with Vinny Corey and Kieran Hughes, who only returned from an ankle injury in last week's 1-17 to 1-9 defeat to Kerry, dropping to the bench.

Having lost four consecutive games, Malachy O'Rourke's side must beat their Ulster rivals to have any chance of avoiding relegation from the top tier.

Subs: Mark Keogh, Conor Boyle, John McCarron, Kieran Duffy, Vinny Corey, Dick Clerkin, Kieran Hughes, Owen Duffy, Conor McCarthy, Barry McGinn, Fergal McGeough.
