GAELTACHT SCHOLARSHIPS.

This year a second group of pupils from the county will be attending courses in the Gaeltacht's Coláiste Chú Chulainn, Gaoth Dobhair Co. Dún na nGall after the following were awarded scholarships to the College:

Abbie Weldon (Leachtain)

Tristan Moyna (An Bhoth)

Caoimhe Gibbons (Craobh Mháirtin)

Ellen Mc Nally (Craobh Mháirtin)

Niall Mc Kenna (Scairbh na gCaorach).

The Oifigeach Cultura agus Gaeilge, Breda McCooey in announcing the winners also thanked Kevin Cassidy from Coláiste Chú Chulainn who generously contributed to the scholarship fund. Staying with the language the Cill Laobháin club is hosting a Quiz as Gaeilge for GAA clubs from Monaghan on Friday May 29th  in Newbliss and cluvbs are urged to show their support for the Killeevan Club and their efforts through PRO Briain MacUaid, to promote the language. Brian points out that only one person per team is required to be fluent in the language so please go along for a good night's fun as Gaeilge.
