Tyrone secured their first points of the NHL Division 3A campaign with a deserved victory over Monaghan in Clones.

Damien Casey top scored for the winners with nine points while Kiefer Morgan and Marc Devine raised green flags for the winners.

Morgan's goal helped establish a 1-6 to 0-5 advantage for the winners and Devine's second half goal sealed the win.
