HL3A: Fingal come good in second half
11 March 2013
Fingal came from seven points down at half-time to defeat 14-man Monaghan at Inniskeen.
The north Dublin outfit, who drew with Louth in the first round, looked to in be trouble when the hosts led by 1-7 to 0-3 at the break with Hugh Byrne in fine form from placed balls. But Byrne's dismissal on the stroke of half-time was a major setback for Monaghan who could only manage two further points in the second half.
