The May meeting of Monaghan county board took place in Drumhowan on Tuesday evening last May 8th but the meeting was held in camera. Reports emanating from the meeting would indicate that there was a lengthy and at times somewhat heated discussion
on the recent difficulties that hurling experienced and the expectation that such discussion would take place may have prompted the "in camera" decision. It would be the first time in living memory though that a full county committee meeting has been held behind closed doors. Tweet
