DR WARD CUP: An important week for our senior team on Friday night we are at home to Blackhill at 7.30PM, while on Sunday we play Aghabog away at 1PM, note early throw in.
OFFICIAL OPENING: A huge crowd turned out to watch Monaghan & Armagh play out an entertaining and keenly contested game between two teams who were almost full strength, too see some of the top players in Ulster perfom on our pitch was indeed a special occasion. The Monaghan team was captained on the night by our own Berat Turker who also got a run out in the 2nd half. A big thank you to all who made the night possible, it would be impossible to thank all those who volunteered to work around our grounds over the last number of weeks, our facilites our now on a par with any grounds in the county thanks to your efforts. Thanks to those who stewarded on the night, and a special thanks to former players of the club who made the journey back to to the club on or special occasion, especially ninty one year old Jim Woods who travelled from Belfast to Oram to be part of the ceremony. Thank to all the business who sponsored our program, a second patch of programs will be ordered this week.
MAYOR OF ORAM: Congrats to Martin Fox who became the first Mayor Of Oram on Saturday night, Martin was a popular and deserving winner, as well as being senior team sponsor Martin is hard working committee members who done endless hours of work around oour grounds over the last number of weeks. Well done to all 17 contestants who ran for the Mayor and needed much needed funds for youth development in the club.
U-16: Lost to Inniskeen last week we are away to Scotstown tonight Thursday, meet up at 5.45 at club.
U-10s: Well done to our u-10s who played at half time on Sunday night, thanks to Doohamlet for accepting our invitation to attend. Next u-10 blitz is in Toome at end of May.
