There have been two rounds of matches played in the senior, intermediate and junior football leagues during the past week.

SFL
On Wednesday evening last in the senior football league Carrickmacross defeated Truagh by two points, Latton defeated Scotstown in Scotstown while the games between Clontibret and Castleblayney and Monaghan Harps and Currin ended all square. The game between Magheracloone and Ballybay was postponed. Over the weekend Magheracloone defeated Castleblayney in Castleblayney, Latton won away again, this time at Clontibret, Ballybay proved too strong for Monaghan Harps, Carrickmacross had the minimum to spare over Currin in Scotshouse and Truagh had three points to spare at home against Scotstown.

IFL
In the intermediate football league on Wednesday evening last Corduff defeated Sean McDermott's, Donaghmoyne defeated Cremartin in Cremartin, Rockcorry had 10 points to spare over Inniskeen in Grattan Park, Doohamlet won away at Toome and Tyholland had five points to spare over Aughnamullen. Over the weekend Aughnamullen got back to winning ways on Saturday when they defeated Inniskeen, Donaghmoyne had two points to spare at home against Corduff, Doohamlet proved too strong for Sean McDermotts, Tyholland won away at Toome and Rockcorry and Cremartin finished all square.

In the junior football league on Wednesday evening last Emyvale defeated Aghabog in Aghabog, Clones held out for a one point victory against Killanny, Killeevan had five points to spare at home to Eire Og and Drumhowan won away at Oram. On Sunday last Aghabog got back to winning ways when they defeated Blackhill by a point, Emyvale had six points to spare over Oram, Clones had four to spare over Eire Og in Smithboro while Drumhowan and Killeevan ended in a draw.

CRAWLEY CUP.
In the opening round of matches in the 2012 Crawley Cup that were played on Friday evening last Eire Og defeated Monaghan Harps by five points, Aughnamullen had a comfortable victory away to Rockcorry, Scotstown had two points to spare over Blackhill and Emyvale emerged victorious by a point in their local derby with Truagh.

MFL.
There was a full round of matches played in the minor football league divisions 1, 2 and 3 over Monday and Tuesday evening last. In division 1 Killanny defeated Carrickmacross and Scotstown defeated Monaghan Harps while Castleblayney and Clontibret finished level.
In division 2 Magheracloone won by two points away at Latton, Donaghmoyne pipped Rock Sarsfields by a goal in a high-scoring affair in Killeevan and Emyvale had too much in reserve for Sean McDermotts in a Threemilehouse while the game between Truagh and Cremartin was postponed.
In division 3 Cuchulainn Sarsfields defeated St Patrick's in Aughnamullen, Blackhill had a comparable victory away to St Tiarnachs and Corduff won by a substantial margin away to Tyholland.
