Senior Team: We played Cremartin yesterday evening see match report.
Under 12s: Unfortunately luck wasn't on our side when we travelled to Aughnamullen last Saturday in hope of a place in the league final. This panel of skilful players put in a great effort all year, but succumbed to a strong home side.  
Oisin McKenna had a brilliant season in goals, and couldn't be faulted on this occasion. Mark Byrne and Aisling Callan formed a strong rearguard and both improved immensely all year. John Gorman was our playmaker all year at half back, and he was partnered by Bartek, who has a very bright future in a Toome jersey. Frank Connolly led by example in midfield, ably assisted by Charlie McDonnell.  
Despite our defeat, James Wilson was undoubtedly man of the match, and he got plenty of support from Stephen Blessing, Joseph Harte and Kevin McCooey. Killian Ruddy featured well when introduced, and Sam Dykes proved a handful also. Special mention also to Andrew Connolly and Owen Gorman who both played well in a challenge match during the week.  
At the final whistle, Irene immediately announced that we would host a blitz in the coming weeks, so the season isn't over just yet. Best of luck to Frank, James, John, Bartek & the under 14s in the coming weeks.
