March 18, 2010
With the Ulster club football leagues drawing to the final stages the only action last weekend was in division 1 where Truagh had a good home win over St Josephs of Fermanagh by 2-14 to 0-8. In the club hurling league Truagh did not fare so well against Clonduff going under by 1- 9to 0-8. Castleblayney had just one point to spare against St Enda's from Antrim where the concession of goals almost cost them the game but they held out for victory by 2-16 to 5-6 and Carrickmacross had seven points to spare over Camlough of Armagh. This weekend in the club hurling league Truagh are away to All Saints of Antrim, Carrickmacross have home advantage over Belfast side Ardoyne and Monaghan Harps are at home to Carryduff.
