CLUB SCENE.
It fell to Latton and Magheracloone to open the club season in Monaghan when they met in division 1 of the reserve football league in Latton on Wednesday evening last with Latton recording a nine points victory, 2-10 to 0-7. The other games in the reserve football league division 1 saw Scotstown defeat Clontibret, Castleblayney defeated Monaghan Harps while Carrickmacross and Truagh ended all square. In the Foxhound Travel reserve football league division 2 there were victories for Drumhowan over Inniskeen, Donaghmoyne away to Tyholland, Corduff at home to Clones and Doohamlet away at the Cremartin while in division 3 Aughnamullen defeated Sean McDermotts, Eire Og defeated Oram, Killeevan defeated Truagh in a fairly competitive encounter, Clontibret had 8 points to spare over Emyvale and Ballybay had six to spare over Scotstown. In division four Currin defeated Fergal O'Hanlon's, Toome defeated Rockcorry, Killanny defeated Emyvale, Castleblayney had two points to spare over Sean McDermotts and Monaghan Harps had the minimum to spare over Aghabog in a high-scoring encounter.

FIXTURES.
This weekend the action is confined mostly to the Foxhound Travel reserve football league divisions 1 and 2 with one game in the reserve football league division 3. In the reserve football league division 1 Clontibret are at home against Latton on Saturday at 1 p.m.. Also in Division I Monaghan Harps are at home against Truagh on Sunday at 2 p.m., Scotstown entertain Castleblayney and Carrickmacross are away against Magheracloone was those two matches at 3 p.m.. Also on Sunday in division 2, all games at 3.00pm Donaghmoyne travel to Drumhowan, Inniskeen are away against Clones, Doohamlet have Tyholland as visitors and Corduff travel to Cremartin. The one game in reserve football league division 3 on Sunday at 3 p.m. sees Sean McDermotts away against Emyvale.
