ASAP CONFERENCE.
A special conference on the theme of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Prevention will be held in Croke Park on Saturday, March 27th commencing at 9:30 a.m. and concluding at 2 p.m.. As well as a number of keynote speakers on aspects of the Alcohol and Substance Abuse Prevention the main part of the conference will be the 5 workshops where matters such as developing a club drug and alcohol policy, the question of Head Shops, talking to people about alcohol and drug abuse and the whole area of Life Style in relation to alcohol and substance abuse prevention will be discussed. All club, county and provincial ASAP Officers are invited to attend this very important event as all clubs, county committees and provincial councils will have to have an Alcohol and Substance Abuse Prevention Policy in place before the end of this year. The cost of the conference is €25 per delegate and booking is online at www.gaa.ie/asap.
