Aughnamullen player Paraic Bannigan made a substantial contribution to UCD winning the Freshers Cup 3rd level competition when he lined out against CIT in the final recently.

The young Aughnamullen lad, son of Owen Bannigan and grandson of the late Packie Bannigan, a former officer of the Aughnamullen club is studying Chemical Engineering in UCD and was the only Monaghan player on the victorious team which is a nice little feather in his cap. Tweet
