Seniors: Our seniors hopes of league survival suffered a major setback on Sunday with a defeat by Ballybay. As always the lads battled hard and there were some excellent indivividual displays particularly Marty McAree who contributed 1-5. We have two league games remaining against Donaghmoyne and fellow strugglers Aughnamullen. On a positive note there is still a championship semi final to look forward to and a Bí Final. Peter was one of the ëfounding fathersí of the revived Emyvale club in 1944 and was also one of the few surviving members of the great Emyvale team that created history in 1945 by becoming the first club in Co.
