Kerry are set to be without three college-tied players for Sunday's Allianz FL game away to Monaghan following the outcome of tonight's Sigerson Cup semi-finals.

Jack Barry and Barry O'Sullivan lined out in midfield while Brian O'Seanachain came on as a substitute for UCD in their 0-18 to 1-13 extra-time victory over UUJ at Inniskeen - the venue for the Kingdom's resheduled tie with the Farney County.

With the prestigious third-level competition's decider due to be played on Saturday (Santry Avenue, 3:30pm; less than 24 hours before their county's league tie), the above trio are unlikely to be called upon by Kerry manager Eamonn Fitzmaurice the following day.

Austin Stacks defender Ronan Shanahan will be available for selection however after his DIT side fell to NUIG in the other semi-final in Mullingar.

Monaghan are set to exclude key forward Conor McCarthy for their clash with the Munster champions at Grattan Park.

McCarthy top scored with 0-6 for UCD tonight but fellow county man Ryan McAnespie will be available after UUJ's defeat to the Dublin students.

Meanwhile, Corofin players Liam Silke (UCD) and Kieran Molloy (NUIG) will miss the Sigerson Cup final as it clashes with their club's All-Ireland semi-final meeting with Moorefield.
