New Years Day Swim: The Ballybay Pearse Brothers Annual New Year's Day Swim takes place on Monday the 1st of January 2018 at 12pm. Cards are available from Smyth's shop or anyone who wants to take part contact Cillian on 0867368078. This is always an enjoyable morning for those watching and a great way to start the new year!!! This year we have opened the swim up to anybody who would like to take part for any charity of their choice.
Pearse Bros Xmas tournament: The Annual 5 aside tournament takes place this year on Saturday 23rd December from 2pm -4pm. Supporters are welcome as always. All proceeds from tournament will go to Ballybay Cancer Society. If your interested in playing contact Barney Mc Cabe at [email protected]
The Battle of Clones 1997: On Saturday December 23rd Ballybay Pearse Brothers would like to invite all the current/ past players,management, family members and all supporters of the1997 Div 2 Minor League Team that won an epic battle against a talented Tyholland team in Clones to a DVD night in Pat O Briens Bar Ballybay from 9: 30pm. It marks 20 years since that wonderful achievement and a great night of craic is sure to be had with the burning question Was JP Carroll going for a goal or a point? Everyone is welcome and food will be served at half time on the night.
Ballybay Monster Bingo: The Ballybay MONSTER bingo will take place on Sunday the 7th of January 2018 @3pm in the Ballybay Pearse Brorthers Centre. €8000 in prizes on the day with a guaranteed Monster Bingo Jackpot of €2500 that must be won.
Volunteer appreciation award for Christy: Last Wednesday night in the Four Seasons Hotel Christy McQuillan received an appreciation award from the GAA President Aogán Ó Fearghail on behalf of Monaghan GAA having been nominated by the Ballybay Pearse Brothers. This is an excellent initiative organized by Monaghan GAA for the first time this year, well done Christy a well deserved award.
