Ballivor 7-10 Wolfe Tones 2-7
On a perfect evening for football, Ballivor finally got their B league campaign underway, with victory by a large margin against Wolfe Tones.
Ballivor started well and were 2-2 to 0-1 up after 10 minutes. The visitors were let back into the game through the concession of a couple of cheap goals, but Ballivor were always in control and the much stronger outfit on the night.

Ballivor pushed on impressively in the 2nd half, with added fresh legs, with plenty of quality to be chosen from the bench from the 26 man strong panel.
It was near dominance from Ballivor in the 2nd half with Wolfe Tones only sight at goal coming from the penalty spot, resulting in a brilliant save from McCarthy in goals.
It was a great display from the lads, with the old saying that a mixture of experience and youth goes well together, being proven right again.
