Moylagh vs Kilskyre JHC

(Oldest Posts First)

This could be the game of the season two neighbours havnt met in championship hurling in years, sure to be a good battle! Who do people fancy to win as whoever does surely must be favourites to win the championship outright!

Dandeman,
I think this should be a good game, and should see Kilskyre through. If Moylagh win they still might not qualify as Ratoath have and probable will end up with a better scoring average. On you prediction for winning it outright I would say the tones, kiltale and dunboyne have something still to say

I think it will be close with Kilskyre to shade it.

So if kilskyre win, it looks like it will be kilskyre v dunboyne and tones v kiltale in semi's. How do you think that will go....

Dunboyne to beat Kilskyre by 5-6 pts and Kiltale to beat Wolfe Tones by the same margin. Then Kiltale to be crowned junior champions 2010..Anyone no what is the delay with the junior 2 hurling semi-finals?

There are play offs in both groups in the Junior 2. Kells qualified top spot in one group, Rathmolyon beat Clann Na Gael in a play off at the weekend to qualify in second place. In the other group, there is a 3 way play off between Trim, Na Fianna and Killyon. I think Na F beat Trim and that put them through in first place. Trim and Killyon now to play off for the runners up spot to play Kells.

So at the moment, I think the situation is
Kells V Trim or Killyon
Na Fianna V Rathmolyon

No ideas when games will be played, no doubt it will be a couple of weeks yet as Ballivor still involved in football.

God only knows when the county board wil fix the semi-finals...With the teams that are left it hard to call who will reach the semi-final/final.ill put my money on na fainna to win it.

I see Trim play Killyon this Saturday so the semi finals could be the following weekend.

Hard to pick a winner in the Jnr 2, its a complete lottery. If I'd fancy anyone I'd say Killyon, they've reached the final in the last 2 years, lost in a replay against Kildalkey 2 years ago and to a last second goal to Don Ash last year. They are surely due a win.
