Watching the match online?

(Oldest Posts First)

Hey all!
I am heading on holidays to Portugal on Sunday, and I'm missing the match, ahh! I know you can't watch it online with rte.ie, but does anyone know of other websites that will show the match? For free if possible? Oh, there's no Irish bar in the place which i'm staying, so im taking the laptop! AN MHI ABU!

Skryne81 - I'm always travelling, and the following two streamers are ok to use if the broadband is fast enough:

http://www.myp2p.eu/index.php?part=sports

http://www.justin.tv/

Normally 24hours past the game, RTE have podcasts. Radio1 with Michael Muircheartaogh is always a great live option when net not fast enuff.
Enjoy!

I am living in Belgium. You can get a piece of software that gives you a false ISP address (You can choose any country you wand an ISP from) you can then log onto the website and view all their media online.

The connection is terrible when watching online. and there is no scoreboard thing on screen. when meath played laois the second time it was shocking, probably because so many people were watching it, but imagine how bad it would be when meath and dublin are playing in the leinster final.

as said before myp2p.eu is an excellent site for watching any sporting event on around europe. may need to download a small program first to watch some of the streams but others are good to go.

Administrator removed the name of the software. So I assume it will be removed again. Sounds like "Identity Croaker" but more cloak than Croke???

If your in Canada, the US or Australia, go onto Premium sports website and search for the locations your in. They will tell you a list of pubs that are showing the GAA matches in your city. Eg. Toronto has 4 pubs showing them, Melbourne has one, Sydney Australia has one also (I think), but just search it. They will tell you the nearest one to you, but they all will have a cover charge on them.

i am in seattle
I have 2 accounts with irish ip addresses....just do a search for "irish ip" and it will come up...Costs about 10 Euro per month each.
RTE are sharp at stopping this so the sucess rate is about 75% even with 2 seperate accounts....you would think that in the current situation with so many of us working away from home they could throw a blind eye on this, but they dont.

Still I havent missed a meath match yet this year and love watching the Sunday Game on Sunday nights

I find Justin and the p2p sites very unreliable
