New! Who will win the hurling championships

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

I am just wondering what peoples views are to who will win the various grades of hurling championships. Taking into consideration that round 1 of championship and 4 rounds of league are completed?

were u not reading the last thread on junior hurling, moylough all the way. with galway native sean dolan and former star eugene o'growney taking charge of the team expect great things! and with carl clinton out of retirement and brian grall rumoured to be coming home from australia its just getting stronger

they beat omahoneys and i believe they were short 5 starters. think theyre out against wolfe tones tuesday night in a refixed game and i think the tones are right to insist they have all their county stars available if they want to stand a chance

looks like it, how come they were missing 5 players, thats a serious result if that was the case.

how many times have moylagh being tipped to win junior championship before? They beat a navan second team and we have seen how bad Navan are struggling in senior with their first team.

well toon i cant really comment on who was tipped over the last few years because ive been out of the gaa scene in meath for a while, only just getting interest restored. was at a load of games over the last few months and am speaking purely as a neutral based on what ive seen. not sure on moyloughs absent players minorstar but i think theyre expecting a full outfit. i heard they played clonkill, the westmeath senior champs in a challenge recently and it was a right ding dong battle, right clonkill werent entirely at full strength but they had a few cof their big names out

Tones should shade that one, think pim mite b slightly sarcastic in his comments..moylagh are decent this year but they rely far too much on one or two lads to pull them through games..tones by 4 or 5

its interesting. Moylagh seem to be putting in a huge effort, how did that game against the westmeath senior team go. Are they training much then also.

is that a factor though for ratoath. i know they have only one loss in the league this year so they look strong but to get up for third year after losing two finals will be tough. I sit true they are short some regular players.

pim, its obvious to see you are just smart commenting your own team..talking on the internet..is much different thatn talking on the pitch

pim, moylogh may be flying in the league but the fact is, they are playing division 3 hurling..all 2nd teams or 3rd teams.. that is your first team..come on, your onnly fooling yourself

Ratoath will wipe the floor with moylagh in the junior championship. They have three decent hurlers. The rest are average at best. End of.

I am wondering if anyone has a view on the junior championship game tonight between Wolfe Tones and Moylagh. Who do you think will be the victors in this one. From previous posts some people have been bigging up Moylaghs chances in this years championship and I see the Tones are unbeaten this year also.

I feel ratoth and tones are the main contendors as ratoth clearly have a strong team but the tones are un beaten and are progressing through the year
