I would not be surpised if something did happen as the team performance was poor and Joe was very poor himself. There was probably a few word's said. This happened the last time Meath travelled down south to the Limerick game.I heard that on the way down Coyle stopped the bus 5 times to get out and do jogging and stertching and that before they got off the bus when they arrived in Limerick Graham Geraghty and Darren Fay stood up and said thet this will be there last game for Meath if they lose.

Ah the old days Thumbing to the game. Willie Joe Padden [Mayo] Gets a flight from America to Shannon [no airport in Knock then] and thumbs a lift up the N17 to Castlebar I think to play in an U-21 game for his beloved Bellmulett. That was the way it was back then. By the way I think they lost
