Aren't Meath seniors Nestor and O'Rourke on scholarships in DCU?
I noticed neither played for college or county in O'Byrne Cup
Are they injured, dropped or unavailable?

ye sure sigerson teams start training at the end of september start of october!!! there is alot of challenge matchs played between then and the start of the obyrne cup!!!

Shane O Rourke injured? Lets be honest theres nothing new there. Decent player without a doubt but very injury prone.

Hasn't O'Rourke been injured since the Wexford game last year or this a new injury?? Give the lad a break as he is a great talent. We are too quick to put people down on this board, give him a chance to regain full fitness lads!
Saw Nestor in the crowd at the Westmeath match, hope he'll be ok soon too, has great pace and is a very good up and coming player.
On that note, whatever happened to another Blackhall Gaels man, Paddy Brady, minor Leinster winning captain of a few years ago, he was a very good player too, is he injured or what??

young lads getting injured so much is a worry, they must be over doing it in the gym or too many matchs.
