Anyone a idea what team will start?
Is joe likely to be on bench? Is he carrying a injury?
I think banty will have to start kevin reilly for this one.

Say you are going to the match on facebook and recommend it to all your Meath friends, great way to promote the game.

Looking forward to this game ! Think we could win this one lads if we keep the heads down. Kildare are obviously going to be a tougher team to come up against than what we have faced previous to this, and they will be fighting for a win to get up from the bottom. However it could go either way on Saturday let's hope it's our way or we won't hear the end of it ;)

Kildare will take confidence from that win. But I'd imagine Kerry were still missing Crokes boys and the article said that they lost their way when Donaghy etc.. got taken off .So it's not like they beat Kerry at their best

I think the form-lines going in to this mean nothing.
Kildare will be up for it and we better be too.

Agree with CoylersElbow but our momentum has been stalled bit because of the break, plus Kildare's line-up against Kerry is far stronger than the first two league games.
I think they see this as a MUST win..

Heard that had kerry not emptied there bench kildare wouldn't have got close.
How accurate that is I don't know
Really looking forward to this. A win would be perfect to get the monkey off our backs. A loss while not desired would not I think stunt us full stop. But win and we are really looking good for promotion

I heard on the radio thismorning that we have quite a few injuries from the club games over the past 2 weeks.

Kevin Reilly and Joe Sheridan both picked up injuries while Graham Reilly is very doubtfull.

If that is true its a disaster. Grahm reillys performances to date have been very good. Joe always a threat. Kevin is needed in back line. How accurate are these reports? Honestly don't think we can do it without those 3

Menton and Lenehan playing for the under 21's tomorrow evening as well. Hopefully will pick up no knocks. I would like to see both have more time to recover, with such an important league match just three days later.

royaldunne ,you cant say its a disaster, these boys didnt start the last game and if im right joe or kevin havent been 100% so far this year ,so its nothing new for banty to address . dont put the moan on it .a good team will adapt and restructure and indeed this is a true test for management ,no excuses they have all winter to prepare ,injuries or not .think gg will be coming on toward the latter .wonder who will be the free taker ward or bray ?this game is ours

Kildare are struggling to adapt to the long-ball game that McGeeney wants with Thomas O'Connor at 14. Monaghan got their tactics right against them and swept up lots of ball around the square. They're still a very good team though. Different prospect on a dry day in Croker when they'll run at you from their own half.

Tough one to call. I'd like to see McGuinness in there in the full-back line along with Menton to deal with the high ball. Other than that they're still poor defensively and their zonal system isn't nearly as effective as Dublin or Donegal's.

None of the u21's picked up injuries as far as I'm aware. Meath by 2 points.

I hope at least two of the doubtful three are fit for Saturday. It doesn't look good other wise. This is the biggest game of the league this year (imo)...

Yep agree biggest so far. As we get closer to this I am growing slightly mor confident that we will do.
There is conflicting reports re the 3 lads and how bad there injured. I think 2 will start tho. I believe we may be without biggy this will allow joe to start with a bit of re jigging in forward line. He has had some of his best performances againts kildare so hope for another one

Massive game, could make or break the entire season!

Same for Kildare. There wont be an inch given in this match and anyone who thinks Meath are going to win easily will get a shock on Saturday night.

Cant wait for this game. Best of luck Lads!

(Can hear the hum of the Lawn mowers today, summer must be just around the corner.... yehoooooo)
