The championship is looming again. The intermediate championship seems to be tasty enough this year.Anybody have any idea on what the goups are or who are the favourites. Thanks SendHerIn (Meath) - Posts: 15 - 17/05/2012 13:22:06 1174327 Link 0 |

Rathmoylon would probably be considered the favorites. The likes of Blackhall, Clann na Gael, Dunderry and Kilskyre will all have a good chance. Kilmessan and Kildalky could have a serious say if their senior teams stay injury free. Here's a link for the groups http://meath.gaa.ie/ihc.php BtownBoyo (Meath) - Posts: 21 - 17/05/2012 14:11:30 1174401 Link 0 |

Are the leagues done on head to head or score difference? Looks to be fairly tight in a number of the groups this year. johnmoore09 (Meath) - Posts: 61 - 17/05/2012 15:27:44 1174488 Link 0 |

Rathmoylon will prob win it out but blackhall will go very close, they have few excellent young players in shane whitty and county man stevie morris. If the senior football keeps stuggling the hurlers might benefit cause dual players might give more effort to hurling Jsb (Meath) - Posts: 64 - 17/05/2012 15:29:14 1174492 Link 0 |

I agree, Rathmolyn must go in as favourites but group A is a tough one. I can see teams taking points off each other. Kilmessan, Dunderry, Kildalkey and Blackhall will be dangerous. Im not sure what is happening in Wolfe Tones but they seem to be going backwards. They are shipping some losses in the league, not a happy camp... In group B Kilskyre to top the group and should make for a interesting knockout stage. MinorStar (Meath) - Posts: 294 - 18/05/2012 10:15:29 1174941 Link 0 |

Clan an Gael beat ratoath by 5 points..very good game however ratoath will be disappointed with that result..probably deserved to lose in the end but some awful decisions made by some of the forwards and not using a substitute was one of the strangest decisions I've seen hoganstandboy19 (Meath) - Posts: 76 - 03/06/2012 17:04:11 1186165 Link 0 |

There was a time when BHG could put it up to their 1st team. Bad times in B'town. Stuck_for_ash (USA) - Posts: 123 - 03/06/2012 19:49:26 1186302 Link 0 |

kildalkey lost to wolfe tones but really had the beating of the tones. two etreemly soft goals killed off kildalkey. kildalkey will struggle this year though as they will loose some players to the senior team because 3 or 4 players are going away for the summer of the senior team. hurlin.lad (Meath) - Posts: 25 - 04/06/2012 15:03:02 1186662 Link 0 |

some good hurling matches over the weekend, was in trim on Saturday night, poor conditions but not too bad of a game, i think kiltale will have a say come the closing stages, our dunboyne team had a very good display against drumree even when reduced to 14, our inter team took a beating off a good dunderry team, Gary watters why not playing senior?? royalfan1 (Meath) - Posts: 82 - 05/06/2012 21:19:42 1187781 Link 0 |

Toon, I would agree with your post and the results predicted. Should be good games and nice to see they are split over the weekend so they can be watched. Saw Rathmolyn V Kilmessan in first round and they looked very good. I cant see anyone stopping them this year. I would imagine they have the bit between their teeth to get back up to senior. Cant see the Tones beating them. Not all well in their camp by the sounds of it... MinorStar (Meath) - Posts: 294 - 21/06/2012 15:31:17 1199261 Link 0 |
