Seneschalstown 1-5 Trim 2-2 In a low scoring Under 17 Division 3 13-a-side game Seneschalstown and Trim played out an exciting draw in difficult windy conditions on Tuesday night, 18th September. Seneschalstown began strongly but failed to make use of a strong favouring wind and had only 0-2 from Ciaran Mc Gowan and Ronan McDonnell to show for their efforts at half time having wasted numerous chances. Trim countered with just 0-1. Playing against the wind Seneschalstown played their best football of the game with Sean Mc Cabe, Damian Mc Donnell, Mc Gowan and Niall Groome controlling the middle the added 1-2 through Mc Gowan 1-0, James Conlon 0-1 and Robert Waters 0-1. The goal came from a well taken penalty after Mark Gilsenan was brought down.With less than ten minutes remaining two long balls from Trim caught out the Seneschalstown defence and two well taken goals gave keeper Ciaran Flynn no chance.Trim then added 0-1 to take the lead for the first time.Robert Waters then levelled the game with a fine point.
