Alan Farrell impressed for Nobber
Nobber finished top of Group A with a win in this tough local North Meath darby match against their neighbours Castletown. Nobber 1-10 Castletown 1-9. The early stages of the first half were neck and neck, until Castletown pulled away scoring 1-2 when Nobber had a scoreless 20 Minutes. Nobber scored two points in injury time that then left them trailing by just a goal at half time. The start of the second half Nobber scored three points to bring it back to draw match, but Castletown upped the pace again. Nobber backs gained possession and cleared the ball to safety. Best for Nobber were Philip McEntee, Colin Clarke, Gavin Farrelly, Alan Farrell and Brian Farrell.
