Poor starts to both halves saw Drumconrath/Meath Hill go down to St. Cuthbert's in this U14 Division 5FL semi-final.

Cuthbert's started well and led 2-3 to 0-1 after 20- minutes but Drum/M Hill got to grips with the game and goals from Patrick Farrelly and Aoife Conlon had the teams level at the break.
Drum M Hill attacked strongly at the start of the second half but poor shooting and good defending from the Bohermeen lads ensured all attacks where repelled. Cuthberts then hit 3-1 in 6 minutes to make sure of victory as they led by 8 points at that stage. Drum M Hill finally got going and a goal from Tommie Rooney and 1-2 from Patrick Crosby narrowed the gap to 2 points as time ran out on the Red and Blue for whom David O'Halloran, Mark Halpenny, Darren Martin, Rooney and Crosby did best.
