Under 15's stroll to victory

Leinster U-15 FT Meath 5-20 Longford 0-6 Meath proved to be far too strong for Longford in their opening game of this year's Leinster U-15 FT played at Pairc Tailteann on Saturday 8th July. They had 2-3 on the scoreboard before Longford registered their first score in the game. They then finished at the break with a commanding lead of 2-12 to 0-3. Round 2. Saturday  July 15th. 2006. Round 3. Saturday  July 29th. 2006.   Outline of Tournament Details. Group 1.      (1) Dublin West. (2) Kildare, (3) Wexford, (4) Laois. Group 2.      (1) Meath,  (2) Longford,  (3)Dublin South, (4) Westmeath. Group 3. (A)  (1) Dublin North, (2) Wicklow, (3) Kilkenny. (B)     (1) Offaly, (2) Carlow, (3) Louth. All games will be at 2.30pm.   Fixtures applying to each Group. Round 1.    1  v 2;  3 v 4; and   3(A)  v 3(B). Round 2.    2  v 3;  4 v 1; and   1(B)  v 1(A).   Notes: For Rounds 1 and 2  - first named team has a home venue.             Due to increased number of teams Group 3 has been divided into two            sections of three teams each, sections (A) & (B).            All teams will have three games in the tournament.            For  Rounds 1 & 2  - fixtures may be played mid-week as an evening            fixture ahead of the Saturday  but game must be played by the fixed date.   Round 3.  1 v 3; 2 v 4;  and  2(A)  v 2(B).                    For Round 3 it is envisaged that Groups will be completed at the same                    venue ( i.e. three venues) with games being played at same time.   Other Points to Note;   All normal GAA rules apply except for substitutions(unlimited substitutions), Each game 60 minute duration, Panels restricted to 30 players, Size 5 football to be used, Only players in their final year at U15 level are eligible to play i.e no U14 s.
