MFC Groups named

Below are the groups for this year's Aura Leisure Link Minor Football Championships agreed by the Minor Football Grading Committee and adopted at a Meath Minor Football Committee Meeting in Pairc Tailteann on Thursday 8th June.   Aura Leisure Link Minor Football Championships 2006 (15 A Side) Aura Leisure Link MFC  Div 1/2 Group 1 Donaghamore/Ashbourne St Martin's Walterstown Ratoath Group 2 St Cianan's St Colmcille's St Cuthbert s/Bohermeen Parnells Group 3 Simonstown Gaels Summerhill Blackhall Gaels Skryne Group 4 Round Towers St Peter's O Mahony's Trim • 16 teams initially with a chance of winning the Delaney Cup • After the group stages, the top 2 teams in each group will qualify for the quarter finals of the MFC-Div 1 for the Delaney Cup • The bottom 2 teams in each group will qualify for the MFC-Div 2 quarter finals • All teams guaranteed 4 games   Aura Leisure Link MFC  Div 3/4 (13 a side) Group 1 Seneschalstown Oldcastle St Patrick's Dunsany Bective Group 2 Blackfort Gaels Wolfe Tones Moynalvey St Ciaran's Boardsmill Group 3 St Vincent s/Curraha Na Fianna Ballinabrackey/Clonard Dunderry Ballivor Group 4 Dee Rangers Clann na nGael Drumconrath/Meath Hill Inny Gaels Bru na Boinne St Peter's B • 21 teams initially with a chance of winning the MFC-Div 3 title • After the group stages, the top 2 teams in each group will qualify for the MFC-Div 3 quarter finals • Teams finishing 3rd in their group will automatically qualify for the MFC-Div 4 quarter finals. The 2 remaining teams in each group will be in a play-off to determine the other 4 MFC-Div 4 quarter finalists.
