Carnaross played Clonard in the under 14 division 3 championship semi-final in Walterstown. It was a very close and exciting game with both teams dominating the game at different times. Clonard got some early points from play but Carnaross fought back and helped by a goal from a free from Dean Connell lead by 1-3 to 0-4 at half-time. Colm McDonagh scored an early goal for Carnaross in the second half to stretch Carnaross's lead to six points. Barry O'Connor scored two great points from play, Shane Casserly and Michael Brogan added two more to make the game save with five minutes to go.
