May 09, 2006
Meath Juvenile Football Board in conjuction with Sponsors Super Valu Meath plan to extend season and provide games for U-12 and U-14 over the Summer months.
Up until now U-14 started in Early March and all competions ended by 1st July with most clubs out of Football from early May.
U-12 starts a little later but would finish up around the same time.
This left Juvenile GAA footballers idle for the Summer months of most of June all of July and August with no organised games untill the U-13/15 started in September.
All affilated Juvenile clubs in Meath are excepted to take part.
