Under 10 football is thriving in Meath with 7 competitions organised by enthusiast clubs. Some of these competitions are on the go for a number of years with the one organised by the Syddan club one that springs to mind. Others have come on board over the past 5/6 years with Summerhill, Drumconrath and the North West League ran by a committee under the Chairmanship of Ballinloughs Sean Smyth. The other 3 are newer to the scene but are also very well organised with Fun rather than competiveness the most important element. Rules are a little different with the different areas trying different things each year with one hop one solo very much mandatory and goals and points of equal value another rule adopted by the Summerhill club which is catching on in others areas. Below is a breif sysnopsis of the plan of campaign for 2006 all of which the Meath Juvenile Board keeps a watchful eye from the background.
