HL2B: Meath remain unbeaten

Meath kept up their 100% record in the National Hurling League Division 2B with this ten point win over Mayo in Ballina.

Meath 2-19 Mayo 0-15

The winners led 1-10 to 0-7 at the break and were 1-5 to 0-2 to the good after 15 minutes thanks to Kevin Keena goal. Substitute Neil Heffernan sealed the Meath win in injury time with a second goal for the Royals.

Meath senior footballers James Toher and Mickey Burke were both introduced as substitutes in the first half.

Next up for Meath is the visit of Roscommon to Ashbourne next Thursday. A win there for the Royals will put them joint top of the Division with high flying Wicklow.
