Goals from Conor Owens, Daryl Shankey and Lorcan McEntee propelled Nobber NS to victory over Scoil Cholmcille, Mount Hanover in the Boys Division 5 football final at Pairc Tailteann on Saturday.

Owens and Shankey struck in the first-half and the north Meath side held a slender 2-1 to 2-0 interval lead.

Adam Kelly and Sean McQuail raised green flags for Mount Hanover.

The game was delicately poised entering the closing stages but McEntee hit 1-1 without reply for Nobber to ensure victory.
