Under 15s wallop Westmeath

Leinster U-15 Football Summer League Meath 1-15 Westmeath 2-4 Meath had a convincing win over neighbours, Westmeath, in their opening game of the Leinster U-15 Summer league played at Mullingar Shamrocks on Saturday 3rd July. David Raleigh gave Meath a dream start with a goal and captain, Graham Reilly and Shane Farrelly (a free) added points before Westmeath got their first point. Points from Shane Farrelly, David Raleigh, Graham Reilly, David Raleigh (f), and Fionnán Mulvihill then gave Meath a 9 point lead. Westmeath then had their best period of the game by adding 1-2 to their score before Stephan Dervan s point, the last score of the half. H/T: Meath 1-8 Westmeath 1-3 Westmeath reduced the gap to 2 points with a goal in the opening minutes of the second half. But almost straight away Meath again stretched their lead with 4 unanswered points from Shane Tolan, Graham Reilly, Stephen Moran and Andrew Coogan.
