MOYNALVEY REPORT
Ratoath 6-10
Moynalvey 0-7

Ratoath made the trip to Moynalvey an extremely successful one on Wednesday evening last to take home the points and keep their unbeaten record intact.

With some impressive displays of workmanship and passing, Ratoath were worthy of their win. The scoreline doesn't reflect the game. Moynalvey showed great courage in the first half and were unlucky not to have two goals under their belt. Moynalvey will be disappointed with some of the scoring chances but Ratoath made sure they had no trouble in that department with Maire O' Shaughnessy pointing the score of the match in the second half from 40 yards out. Some strong defensive plays from Aideen Smith and Kate Lawless tried to keep the visitors out but they ran out deservedly convincing winners.

This will be a game Moynalvey will want to forget as they pick the spirits up and come back fighting this Friday against Blackhall Gaels in round 5. Credit is due to Ratoath for showing an excellent display of ladies football.

Best for Moynalvey on the evening were Aideen Smith, Kate Lawless and Louise Donoghue.
